Will I be sent a license key file?
No. The license is registered to your server's IP address. You run one installation command on the server and the script finds the license from that IP. There is nothing to copy or store anywhere.
Can a VPS license run on a dedicated server?
No. Licenses are issued per server type, and one bought for a virtualised machine will not validate on physical hardware. If you are not sure which you have, run systemd-detect-virt on the server: an output of none means bare metal, while kvm, vmware or similar means it is virtualised.
I am moving my server to another data centre. What happens to the license?
You update the IP address yourself in the panel; no support request is involved. The license stops on the old address the moment the new one is saved, so make the change once the migration is finished and the new server is up.
If I cancel a monthly license, does it stop straight away?
No. It keeps running until the end of the period you have paid for. Switching off auto-renewal in the panel means it will not renew at the end of that period and nothing further comes off your balance. There is no contract and no cancellation fee.
