Server Performance Licenses
These are the licenses you buy when the goal is more work out of the same hardware: faster responses under load, accounts that cannot starve each other, and patching that does not cost you a reboot.
LiteSpeed Web Server reads your existing Apache configuration and .htaccess rules as they are, so it drops into the stack without rebuilding it. Its event-driven architecture serves concurrent connections without spawning a separate process per request, and with LSCache in front, cached pages are returned without PHP running at all — which is where applications such as WordPress gain. CloudLinux addresses the problem every shared server eventually runs into: it holds each account inside its own CPU, memory and disk I/O ceiling, so a runaway site slows itself rather than the whole machine, and it lets each account run its own PHP version. KernelCare applies kernel security patches to a running system, so no reboot is needed — the real gain is on boxes full of customer sites where a maintenance window is hard to find. SYSCare carries the same idea into userspace, patching libraries and services without stopping them.
Because these products sit at the operating system level, migrations are where licensing usually turns painful. Here a license is bound to an IP address and you move it yourself from the panel: the old address stops the moment you do, and nobody has to approve it. There is no key file to copy or keep safe — installation is a single command and the script identifies the license from the IP. Activation is automatic as well: the amount comes off your prepaid balance, no approval step sits in between, and the license is usually live within a minute. Once you run more than a couple of machines the record keeping starts to matter: every order, renewal and API call is written to your account with its result, so you can go back and see which license sits on which IP and when it last renewed. The same operations — issue, renew, suspend, move to a new IP — are available over the REST API if you would rather drive them from your own automation. Monthly licenses run to the end of the paid period and auto-renewal can be switched off whenever you like; there is no commitment and no cancellation fee. Tiers vary by product — LiteSpeed, for instance, is licensed by CPU core count — and the current options and prices are in the list below.
